Gastrointestinal Symptoms Associated with Unfavorable Prognosis of Covid-19 Patients

Background: COVID-19 pandemic or coronavirus is a systemic disease taken into consideration for vascular system-specific tropism where microcirculation alteration has significant pathogenic role. The affects the gastrointestinal tract, abdominal manifestation, and hepatobiliary system. Aim: aim of present study was to evaluate association symptoms with unfavorable prognosis patients. Materials Methods: This single-center cross-sectional carried out on 486 patients without conducted six months duration from January June 2021 at Gastroenterology department, Isra University Hospital, Hyderabad. All these were categorized two main groups; group-I exposed while group-II symptoms. Gastrointestinal associated acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), non-invasive ventilator treatment, tracheotomy, tracheal intubation. Multivariable unilateral regression models utilized data analysis. Results: Of total patients, 157 (32.3%) symptom 329 (67.7%) GI Propensity scores analyzed in both groups.
